Official Rules
Built for Fast Play.
Competitive. Social. Unforgettable.
Game Format
Games run for seven continuous minutes or until a team scores three goals. If time expires with a leader, that team wins. If tied, the defending team retains the Hill.
Restricted Goal Area
A marked restricted area sits in front of each small goal. Players may not enter it, but the ball may freely enter, cross, roll or be passed through it.
Attacking-Half Scoring
The player taking the shot must be across the halfway line when the ball is struck for the goal to count.
Fast Restarts
The clock continues during normal restarts. There are no timeouts. Teams must be ready when called and intentional time wasting may result in a change of possession.
No Goalkeepers
All six players are field players. Players may not use their hands or arms to play the ball.
Safety & Sportsmanship
Dangerous play, reckless challenges, fighting and deliberate misconduct are not tolerated. Standard AFA safety and sportsmanship policies apply.
All-Time Crown Leaders
The Throne Is Empty.
The first Crowns in AFA history are waiting to be claimed.
